TOMS RIVER EAST LITTLE LEAGUE COACHES CLINIC
 
Coach Greg Short and staff will be conducting a coaches clinic on Sunday, March 21st at the East Dover First Aid building located on Garfield Avenue, Toms River.  The clinic will run approximately 3 hours in length from 12 noon to 3pm.  We are asking for a $10 donation at the door that will be given back to TRELL in the form of a scholarship to be awarded to a family in need to help cover registration costs this year.  For more information call (908) 278-3666

2010 Biopitch/New Jersey Pitching Association 5 Day Elite Pitching Camp
 
The New Jersey Pitching Association in conjunction with Biopitch, New Jersey’s leader in science based pitching instruction, will be conducting a one of a kind, 5 dayElite Pitching Camp for pitchers ages 13 and up.  This clinic is intended for the serious pitcher who is looking to bring his game to the next level by increasing his functional fitness and flexibility, learning effective and efficient throwing mechanics, understanding proper dietary habits, mastering the strategy of the game, and utilizing technology/science to enhance their careers by incorporating preventative arm care training methods.
 
Camp highlights include
  • Full shoulder, elbow, hip and knee examination and gait analysis by a licensed Physical Therapist
  • 2 Videotaped bullpen sessions captured on high speed camera (300 frames per second!) by BioKinetics of New Jersey
  • A written evaluation of their bullpen sessions by an advisory staff member with an individual prescription plan addressing each pitcher’s areas of concern
  • A hardcopy of captured bullpen session on dvd
  • Guest speakers Dean Ehehalt-Monmouth Univ., Jim Carone-Villanova Univ., Joe Litterio-Wagner College, Chuck Ristano-Temple Univ."College Recruiting and How to Attract the Attention of College Coaches" Phil Cundari-Seton Hall Univ.”Mental and Emotional Training For Competition”  Steve Markovich, Seattle Mariners and Lee Mrowicki, Chicago Cubs will also be in attendance.
